The quest to build Australia's highest payload and most thermally efficient refrigerated van began with a complete rethink of the way that vans are designed and constructed - followed by years of MaxiTRANS' research, development and testing. The result is the new Maxi-CUBE Advance
Up to one tonne lighter than comparable vans, the Advance is capable of a 24 tonne payload. New fully composite slab floor and roof construction, combined with reinforced one-piece wall panelling and high tensile 450-grade steel chassis components reduce weight and maintain strength, durability and ease of maintenance.
The Advance's thermal performance has been proven by independent testing to be up to 40% more efficient that some other vans on the market. This potentially results in thousands of litres saved each year on refrigeration fuel running costs.
Laboratory tests show the superior thermal properties of Maxi-CUBE foam, when compared to insulation foam commonly available to other body builders; to be as good, other foams need to be thicker, taking up valuable load space.

Aluminium trim at the top and bottom of walls is a new and unique design feature that houses all brake lines and wiring, allowing them to be quickly and easily accessed for service. |
